General Description

Location. Hostellerie le ry d'ave is located in the ardennes countryside near rochefort, belgium. Chateau lavaux-saint-anne is three kilometres away, and rochefort town centre 13 kilometres. Hotel features. The hostellerie le ry d'ave is a rural hotel housed in a converted tramway station dating from 1836. Wireless internet access is obtainable throughout the hotel, and multilingual staff can advise on local points of interest. Parking is complimentary. The hostellerie le ry d'ave has two restaurants. The cote jardin has exposed brick walls and rustic wood furnishings, and offers views over the countryside. The menu includes a broad variety of gourmet french dishes including grilled scallops with braised chicory perfumed with sherry. Chez matilde is an informal dining spot with a menu inspired by local provincial cooking. A complimentary breakfast is served each morning. Bicycles can be hired on site, and there are riding stables one kilometre away. Fishing, rowing and kayaking are feasible on the lesse river. Guestrooms. The 12 guestrooms have light, modern decor and all have television, direct-dial phones, wireless internet access, safes, minibars, and hair dryers. experienced tip. The caves of han-sur-lesse were historically a refuge for neolithic hunters, and latterly a bomb shelter for village inhabitants during the notorious battle of the bulge in 1944.
